FREE HALF HOUR CLINIC

£0.00 per hour — this scheme provides you with cost free essential advice at the outset of your matter, which should help you make the right decisions from the outset. It also gives you a chance to meet the team.

Financial planning

Variable hourly rate — Of all the financial decisions you are ever likely to make, those related to the financial outcomes from a divorce/separation are the biggest. You need the objective guidance of an expert in this area. We can provide you with cost-effective, timely advice that will save you £’s. We aim to be part of the financial solution, not part of the problem.

Fixed Fees — If you give us a certain piece of work, we like to provide you with certainty of fees. So if for example, you have agreed arrangements with your spouse or partner, either direct or through Mediation we can provide you with a fixed fee to provide any drafting that you require.

Variable hourly rate —  We can provide you with a healthy estimate of the amount of work and the type of costs that would apply to your matter, tailored to your case.

legal aid 

Variable Legal Aid hourly rate — If you are the victim of abuse, including violence, threats and/or coercive control, you may be entitled to Legal Aid for Court hearings. You may also be entitled to Legal Aid if you are a party to a care case and/or if your child is or has been subject to child protection.

Cash flow expense planning

We offer interest free monthly instalments as part of our costs and fees package. We also provide from the outset, estimates of the potential cost of your work to help you plan ahead.

Services of a barrister or other expert

We can source expert advice for you should you require it in your case and have a portfolio of experts and barristers suitable to your means and needs.

If we use a barrister to represent you on a case, we will not charge for any attendances with them where we think that our presence will help.

bill management

Every bill arrives with a narrative, an update of all expenses paid out on your behalf, the total of your payments to date together with a tax invoice detailing the receipts.

Applying for legal aid

£0.00 per hour — If it looks likely that you will qualify for Legal Aid we will use the online system (known as the Portal) to sit with you and enter all your details onto the Legal Aid website. This can take up to half a day and we recommend that you book this appointment well in advance. We do not charge you for this appointment. Please therefore keep the appointment on schedule by bringing all the relevant paperwork, discussed in advance.
